Ed joined Thomson Gray in 2020, but in a way, he has known the business since it started – although he was four years old at the time so did not understand anything!
Ed is our Operations Director but also branches into paraplanning and conducts client review meetings, so each day can be quite different. On any one day, he could be speaking to clients, reviewing processes, conducting investment analysis or training with the team.
What makes you smile outside of work?
Silly moments with family and friends, sunshine and summer holidays. All the best things start with “S” it seems!
I like to get out into nature as much as I can: in the UK, abroad, and in the garden. I’m currently obsessed with rewilding our garden and attracting as much wildlife as possible.

Now retired, Trevor can barely remember what “sit” means, but somehow can remember the exact location of every single squirrel he has ever seen! If sleeping was a sport, he would be the world champion!
